Pere Lachaise

One of the biggest highlights of Paris had to be Pere Lachaise and finally seeing Jim Morrison’s grave site. I have wanted to come here since I was about 8 years old, far too young to even like The Doors but I was obsessed. I have to say I am glad that my love for JM brought me here because it is freaking cool. There are so many famous people here including Oscar Wilde’s tomb which I did not see cause we had a full day and that place is beyond enormous.

Long Exposure

I didn’t know how to make this happen for the longest time (pathetic I know but I am enrolled in a 10 week course so I will be a poser no longer) but I’ve sort of figured it out now and even though they are perfect condition a few actually turned out. The first two are obviously Vancouver and the last one was in Doolin..

I need to go out one night with a tripod and get some on a bridge or something.

Oh and here is one more from Gozo

Blue Skies

This is one of my favorite shots from Amsterdam, the architecture is so incredible there.

Hint Of Blue

I think this will need to go on my wall.

Doolin Cave

The third largest stalactite in the world, it’s 23 feet long and the largest in the northern hemisphere…

She’s big.

That’s about all I have to say about that 🙂

Cliffs of Moher

We saw them from a boat first and they were impressive but nothing compares to standing on the edge of a 700ft cliff with nothing holding you back except pure fear and better judgement.

Okay I use the term ‘standing on the edge’ loosely, what I mean is crawl towards the edge slowing on my hands and knees…

I ain’t going out like that.

Doolin, Co. Clare

Nothing says Ireland quite like sitting in a pub listening to a  band play fiddles and banjos with rolling meadows in the background, of course if I was a champ I would have been drinking Guinness but in true girl fashion had wine instead (beer makes me sleepy, don’t judge).. See the rest here

We only ended up spending a few nights in Dublin and the rest were in western Ireland, of course those few nights were drinking nights so the camera wasn’t out much but there were a couple from the Jameson factory and some pretty cool pubs.
